A full-time leadership opportunity is available for a Director of Operations supporting a Specialty Home Infusion Pharmacy in Oklahoma City, OK. This key role is responsible for overseeing comprehensive pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services, and managing staff to meet professional and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Direct all pharmacy and operational functions to maintain effective and compliant services
• Ensure adherence to USP 797, USP 800, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Maintain compliance with licensing and standards from local, state, and federal agencies
• Assess patient drug therapies and revise plans of care accordingly
• Oversee preparation and accuracy of medication formulations
• Manage controlled substances with strict security and distribution protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and sales teams as a drug information resource
• Participate in on-call duties and provide coverage as needed
• Lead hiring, training, performance management, and strategic planning for pharmacy staff

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph.) with relevant clinical experience
• Current and good standing pharmacist license in Oklahoma; additional licensure may be required
• 3-5 years of pharmacist experience, ideally with compounding and specialty pharmacy or home infusion background
• Strong knowledge of infusion therapies and clinical protocols
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• CPR certification and familiarity with Care Tend systems preferred
• Demonstrated ability to train, educate, and lead pharmacy teams by example
