Inpatient Hospital Director of Pharmacy in Bixby, OK

A full-time Clinical Pharmacist position is available for the evening shift (1400-2230) in Bixby, OK. This role focuses on delivering optimized, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care to inpatient hospital patients. The pharmacist will work closely under the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Operations Manager, overseeing pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff while providing expert drug dispensing, IV admixture, and drug information services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmaceutical care ensuring appropriate medication use and patient safety.
• Manage drug dispensing and IV admixture programs.
• Offer accurate and timely drug information to healthcare teams.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active, in-good-standing Pharmacist license with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required for Code Blue team participation.
• Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy degree and at least one year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
