Director of Pharmacy in Black Eagle, MT

An Interim Director of Pharmacy position is available in the Great Falls, MT area, requiring leadership and management expertise in a hospital pharmacy setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential oversight and direction to a small but dedicated pharmacy staff while maintaining high standards of pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), leading daily operations of the pharmacy • Manage and support 2-3 pharmacist full-time equivalents per day • Oversee pharmacy services across inpatient, outpatient clinics, and surgical hospital settings • Advance key projects including clean room renovation, Medi-Tech IT initiatives, and financial analysis for the infusion center • Stabilize and maintain professional standards throughout the department • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Desired Qualifications and Experience: • Montana state pharmacy license required • Proven experience in hospital pharmacy management • Background in outpatient clinics and surgical hospital pharmacy preferred • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a small pharmacy team • Experience with pharmacy automation systems, specifically Touchpoint, is ideal • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Schedule and Details: • Full-time hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM • No weekend or on-call responsibilities • Contract duration expected to last approximately 3+ months, starting ASAP
