Lead pharmacy compliance and operational excellence for a fast-growing dermatology pharmacy organization headquartered in Tennessee, focused on simplifying care and supporting patient outcomes across multiple states. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead readiness and compliance efforts related to URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board requirements
- Develop scalable SOPs, compliance workflows, and documentation systems
- Conduct mock audits, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective actions
- Manage multi-state licensure tracking and uphold operational compliance standards
- Create and lead training initiatives to enhance pharmacy staff compliance knowledge
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enforce operational accountability and quality assurance
- Drive consistency and audit readiness across pharmacy locations
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Pharmacist license (candidates from various backgrounds encouraged to apply)
- Minimum 5 years in pharmacy compliance, accreditation, regulatory oversight, or quality assurance preferred
- Leadership experience essential
- Strong knowledge of URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board regulations preferred
- Proven ability to build systems, improve processes, and promote operational accountability
- Excellent organizational, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Proficiency with compliance systems, spreadsheets, LMS platforms, and reporting tools
Location:
- Primarily onsite in Franklin, TN, with limited remote flexibility post-onboarding
- Quarterly travel to pharmacy location in Abilene, TX required
- Relocation assistance available for the right candidate
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- No on-call, weekends off
