Director of Pharmacy in Brentwood, TN

This leadership role focuses on directing pharmacy compliance and operational excellence in a fast-growing dermatology pharmacy with a strong multistate presence. The position offers the opportunity to shape scalable systems, lead audit readiness, and uphold high standards in a company dedicated to improving patient care across 17 states.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee readiness for URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board compliance audits
• Develop and implement scalable Standard Operating Procedures, compliance workflows, and documentation processes
• Conduct mock audits to identify operational and compliance gaps proactively
• Maintain tracking of multi-state licenses and compliance standards
• Lead compliance training programs for pharmacy staff
• Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership to enhance operational accountability and quality assurance
• Drive consistency and audit readiness across multiple pharmacy locations with strong attention to detail

Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist license preferred; other backgrounds will be considered
• Minimum 5 years of leadership in pharmacy compliance, accreditation, regulatory oversight, or quality assurance preferred
• Thorough knowledge of URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board regulations is a strong plus
• Demonstrated ability to develop and improve operational systems and processes
• Excellent skills in organization, documentation, communication, and problem-solving
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Proficient with compliance platforms, spreadsheets, learning management systems, and reporting tools

Location & Schedule:

• Primarily onsite in Franklin, TN with limited remote flexibility after onboarding
• Quarterly travel to Abilene, TX pharmacy location required
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, no weekends or on-call duties
• Preference for local candidates; relocation assistance available if needed
