Step into a leadership role as a Pharmacy Director in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where you will oversee pharmacy operations in a large hospital setting committed to excellence in patient care. This direct hire position offers a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a 656-bed hospital known for specialized centers including burn care, women’s health, cancer treatment, and cardiac services.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and supervise pharmacy activities in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Innovate pharmacy practice and operations, collaborating closely with administration and corporate leadership.
  • Mentor and oversee clinical pharmacists and support staff, fostering professional growth and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with JCAHO, DEA, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Maintain safety, infection control, and disaster preparedness protocols.
  • Set and communicate departmental goals aligned with hospital objectives.
  • Manage recruitment, training, evaluation, and retention of pharmacy personnel.
  • Promote multidisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years hospital pharmacy experience; 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
  • Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy degree, 5+ years hospital experience, ALS/ACLS certification.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour day shifts

  • Tulsa, Oklahoma
