An established county-owned health system is seeking a dedicated Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and a 10-bed inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. This direct hire position offers a leadership role within a collaborative, community-focused environment located in the scenic Finger Lakes region of Western New York.

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
- Holidays: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety
- Lead and collaborate with a pharmacy team consisting of pharmacists and technicians, including full-time and PRN staff
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance pharmacy services and clinical outcomes
- Manage department budgets, staffing, and inventory control
- Promote continuous professional development and maintain high staff engagement within the department
- Serve as a key participant in interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient care
Qualifications:
- Current, active pharmacy license in good standing in New York State, or willingness to obtain prior to start (employment contingent on licensure)
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care hospital management experience
- 3–5 years of hospital pharmacy experience overall
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a manageable-sized team
