Lead pharmacy operations as Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist in Charge at a community hospital in Logan, Ohio. This contract opportunity begins March 16, 2026, and continues until the position is permanently filled, with current leadership concluding March 27. This role requires a licensed Ohio pharmacist with inpatient experience, including IV preparations and 340B program knowledge.
Schedule Overview:
- Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Coverage includes four 10-hour day shifts plus on-call duties during pharmacy closure, with typically 1–2 calls per week.
- Weekend rotation every 4th weekend starting March 28, with on-call responsibilities from Friday 6:00 PM to Monday 7:30 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and pharmacy meetings
- Manage narcotics ordering and inventory control
- Supervise sterile compounding activities
- Support clinical services in Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics
- Engage in onboarding and ongoing education for pharmacy staff
- Utilize EPIC for order entry (training provided) and Pyxis automation systems
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist License
- Inpatient pharmacy experience with IV admixtures
- Familiarity with 340B program
- Experience or willingness to learn EPIC and Pyxis systems
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
