An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge/Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership in an inpatient behavioral health setting. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with six-hour shifts, beginning mid-May. The assignment duration extends until a permanent professional is hired.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations within the behavioral health inpatient unit
- Manage medication dispensing, including repackaging processes using systems such as Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL
- Ensure proper loading and maintenance of automated medication dispensing machines
- Run restock reports and maintain accurate inventory records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient medication needs and safety compliance
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Iowa pharmacist license required
- Experience as a pharmacy director or pharmacist in charge preferred
- Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems is highly desirable
- Proficiency in repackaging medications and handling automated dispensing equipment
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage pharmacy workflow effectively in a behavioral health environment

- 6 hours per day
