Director of Pharmacy in Cherry Hill, NJ

Lead the pharmacy services in a dynamic hospital setting as the Director of Pharmacy, based in Willingboro, NJ. This full-time leadership role offers an opportunity to advance your career in a collaborative healthcare environment, working closely with the CEO and multidisciplinary clinical teams. You will oversee all aspects of the hospital pharmacy, including clinical operations, administrative functions, staffing, and financial management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care through innovative and efficient pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage pharmacy operations to meet organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical departments to develop and implement pharmacy programs and policies.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of pharmacy staff.
• Manage budget, forecasting, and financial performance of the pharmacy department.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and standards.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to optimize medication use and patient safety.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Completion of all educational prerequisites for state licensure.
• Minimum of three years hospital pharmacy experience within the past five years.
• Current state pharmacy license and Basic Life Support certification if required.
• PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree plus advanced degree or hospital pharmacy residency preferred.
• At least one year of managerial experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
• Board certification and/or completion of a residency program is a significant plus.

This is a direct hire role, offering a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 based on experience.
