Director of Pharmacy in Cherry Hill, NJ

Lead the pharmacy services for a hospital facility as the Director of Pharmacy, overseeing clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial functions to ensure optimal patient care and organizational success. This full-time direct hire opportunity is located in Willingboro, NJ, offering a competitive compensation range based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the CEO and multidisciplinary clinical teams to align pharmacy services with hospital goals.
• Manage all clinical activities within the pharmacy department to ensure quality patient care.
• Oversee operational and administrative functions, including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Lead staffing, recruitment, and development efforts for pharmacy personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements and maintain licensure standards.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of all educational requirements necessary for state licensure.
• Current valid pharmacy license in the practicing state.
• At least three years of hospital pharmacy experience within the last five years.
• BLS certification if required by the state.
• Preferred: PharmD or BS in Pharmacy plus an advanced degree or completion of a hospital pharmacy residency.
• Minimum of one year in a managerial or leadership role is preferred.
• Board certification and/or completion of residency programs are highly valued.
