Director of Pharmacy in Cherry Hill, NJ

Lead the pharmacy operations and clinical team as the Director of Pharmacy at a respected healthcare facility in Willingboro, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care by managing all aspects of the hospital pharmacy, including clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial responsibilities. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with clinical teams to ensure excellence in pharmacy services.

Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 (based on years of experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Lead, mentor, and manage pharmacy staff to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with executive leadership and clinical teams to develop strategies that enhance patient care
• Administer financial management including budgeting and cost control for the pharmacy department
• Ensure clinical programs align with best practices and support patient safety initiatives

Qualifications:

• Completion of all educational requirements for state licensure, with a current state pharmacy license
• Minimum of three (3) years of recent hospital pharmacy experience within the last five years
• Current BLS certification if state-required
• Preferred: PharmD or BS Pharmacy plus advanced degree or hospital pharmacy residency completion
• Preferred: At least one (1) year of management experience in a pharmacy setting
• Board Certification and/or residency completion are highly desirable
