Inpatient Director of Pharmacy in Crawfordville, FL

This executive leadership role offers a unique opportunity to serve as Director of Pharmacy for a major regional health system in North Florida. The facility is a 772-bed Level II Trauma Center with comprehensive acute care services including Primary Stroke Center, Neonatal and Pediatric ICUs, and a Cancer Center. As Director, you will lead over 100 pharmacy professionals, including six direct reports, across inpatient, ambulatory, clinical, sterile compounding, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for 24/7 inpatient pharmacy services
• Manage and develop a diverse pharmacy team, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices
• Collaborate closely with hospital executive leadership to align pharmacy initiatives with organizational goals
• Oversee sterile compounding and medication inventory control in a complex acute care setting
• Drive continuous quality improvement and optimize pharmaceutical care delivery within a high-acuity trauma environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Florida Pharmacist License and Consultant Pharmacist License (or clear path to obtain)
• Minimum three years as Director of Pharmacy in an acute care inpatient hospital setting
• Minimum three years acute care inpatient pharmacy experience, preferably in a Level I or II Trauma Center
• PharmD strongly preferred; pharmacy residency completion and board certification are advantages
• Proven ability leading large pharmacy teams across multiple service lines
• Experience overseeing 24/7 pharmacy operations and sterile compounding preferred
• Exceptional leadership skills with strong executive presence and collaboration experience with C-suite leadership

This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive base salary between $205,000 and $220,000, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and eligibility for an annual bonus.
