Director of Pharmacy - Diboll, TX

An opportunity is available for an Interim Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership and direction at an inpatient acute care facility in Nacogdoches, TX. This role is ideal for a skilled pharmacy professional licensed in Texas who excels in management and has proven experience in acute care settings.

Location: Nacogdoches, TX
Contract Duration: Beginning August 3rd, approximately 3+ months
Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift (40 hours per week)
State Licensure: Texas Pharmacy License required
Order Entry System: Cerner/Siemens
Site Automation: Omnicell

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacy-In-Charge (PIC) and administrative leader for the pharmacy department
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workflow for a team including a Clinical Pharmacist, PRN pharmacists, full-time and PRN pharmacy technicians
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high standards for quality patient care
• Coordinate and manage pharmacy in-services and staff education programs
• Uphold business casual dress code and foster a professional work environment

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Texas pharmacy license
• Demonstrated inpatient acute care pharmacy management experience
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee a multidisciplinary pharmacy team
• Familiarity with Cerner/Siemens order entry systems and Omnicell automation preferred
• Commitment to regulatory standards and quality assurance
