Director of Pharmacy - Edmond, OK

A full-time leadership opportunity is available to oversee the operations of a Specialty Home Infusion Pharmacy in Edmond, OK. This role requires a dedicated Director of Pharmacy focused on managing the pharmacy staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services and medical supplies according to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all pharmacy and operational functions to maintain effective day-to-day processes.
• Ensure compliance with USP 797, USP 800 standards, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services for patients under authorized medical personnel.
• Maintain pharmacy licensing, standards adherence, and safe preparation of prescriptions and medications.
• Conduct patient assessments to identify drug-related needs and revise care plans accordingly.
• Supervise Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Interns in the preparation and dispensing of formulary solutions.
• Manage controlled substances distribution, security, and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with physicians and referral sources, providing drug information and supporting sales teams.
• Participate in pharmacist on-call rotation and provide operational management including hiring, training, performance management, and strategic planning.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Registered Pharmacist with clinical experience.
• Current and active Oklahoma pharmacy license; additional licenses as required.
• 3-5 years’ pharmacist experience, with preference for direct compounding and specialty pharmacy or home infusion background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• CPR certification and CareTend proficiency preferred.
• Strong infusion expertise, communication, leadership, and team development skills.
