Director of Pharmacy in Ekron, KY

Lead pharmacy operations as an Interim Director of Pharmacy in a critical access hospital setting, supporting both a 25-bed hospital and an 18-bed skilled nursing facility. This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your pharmacy management expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy functions including order verifications.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
• Utilize Cerner and MedDispense systems to manage pharmacy workflows.
• Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy staff ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Kentucky pharmacist license.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Cerner and MedDispense is a plus.

Schedule and Location:

• Work hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
