Director of Pharmacy | El Cajon, California

An interim leadership opportunity is available for a Director of Pharmacy at a 70-bed LTAC hospital in San Diego. This role requires immediate availability and offers a 13-week contract with potential for temp-to-hire.

Location: El Cajon, CA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive oversight of pharmacy operations
• Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for the site
• Utilize RX Connect for pharmacy IT systems
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize pharmacy services

Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Proven experience as Director of Pharmacy within California
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Familiarity with LTAC hospital pharmacy operations preferred

Additional Details:

• This is a contract assignment with potential to convert to permanent
• Support is provided for travel-related expenses, including hotel, car, and flight costs (at cost)
