A critical illness recovery hospital is seeking a dedicated Director of Pharmacy to lead its pharmacy department in Warrensville Heights, OH. Responsibilities:
- Lead the clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial management of the hospital pharmacy
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure high-quality pharmacy services
- Oversee pharmacy processes to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures to support patient care and operational efficiency
- Manage pharmacy staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
- Drive initiatives that promote improvement and innovation in pharmacy services
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of all educational requirements for state licensure
- Minimum of three (3) years hospital pharmacy experience within the last five (5) years
- Current state pharmacy license and BLS certification if required by the state
Preferred Qualifications:
- PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency
- Minimum of one (1) year managerial experience in a healthcare setting
- Board Certification and/or completion of a residency program preferred
