Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee all pharmacy department operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Lead and develop a large pharmacy team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital administration to optimize patient care
  • Manage departmental budget and financial performance with a focus on cost-effective practices
  • Implement initiatives to improve pharmacy services and operational efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Active Tennessee Pharmacist License
  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required
  • Minimum of 3 years in hospital pharmacy management
  • 3 to 5 years of overall hospital pharmacy experience
  • Proven budget management and financial oversight capabilities
  • Strong leadership and team development skills

Ideal candidates are experienced traveling pharmacy directors or interim leaders who can quickly adapt and make an immediate impact. Candidates should be comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, and maintaining compliance in a community hospital setting.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, on site only (no remote work)
