Director of Pharmacy | Franklin, Tennessee

This leadership role is designed for a Pharmacy Director skilled in compliance and operational excellence within a fast-growing dermatology pharmacy setting. The company, recognized for rapid expansion across multiple states, is committed to simplifying complex treatments and delivering affordable dermatology solutions while emphasizing patient safety and regulatory adherence.

Location:

• Franklin, TN (primarily onsite)
• Some remote flexibility after onboarding
• Quarterly travel to West Texas pharmacy location
• Relocation assistance available for the right candidate

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call duties

Responsibilities:

• Lead compliance readiness for URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state boards
• Develop and scale SOPs, workflows, and documentation for compliance
• Conduct mock audits and identify operational gaps proactively
• Manage multi-state licensure tracking and ensure ongoing compliance standards
• Create and deliver compliance training to pharmacy staff
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance operational accountability and quality assurance
• Establish consistency and readiness for audits across all pharmacy locations

Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist license; candidates from diverse backgrounds will be considered
• Leadership experience with at least 5 years in pharmacy compliance, accreditation, regulatory oversight, or quality assurance preferred
• Strong understanding of URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board regulations
• Proven track record in building systems, improving processes, and driving accountability
• Excellent organization, communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Proficient with compliance systems, spreadsheets, LMS platforms, and reporting tools
