Director of Pharmacy - Gibsonia, Pennsylvania

A hands-on Director of Pharmacy opportunity is available in Gibsonia, PA, ideal for an experienced leader with a strong acute care background. This permanent, direct hire position requires active participation in daily pharmacy operations as well as strategic leadership of a small, close-knit team.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend coverage on a rotating basis, around 4 hours of flexible time depending on patient needs
• Compensating weekday off provided after weekend shift worked

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage pharmacy operations as a working director, balancing clinical, administrative, and operational duties
• Supervise a team including 1 full-time staff pharmacist, 1 full-time pharmacy technician, and 2 per diem pharmacists
• Oversee current systems (Med Host and paper-based) with upcoming transition to EPIC (timeline pending)
• Ensure high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance within an acute care setting

Qualifications:

• Acute care hospital pharmacy experience is required
• Pharmacy management or director-level experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing and training a small team with direct reports
• Strong skills in administration, clinical pharmacy, and operations
• Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required or candidate must be willing to obtain
• Retail-only pharmacy backgrounds will not be considered
