Director of Pharmacy - Great Falls, MT

A leadership opportunity is available for an Interim Director of Pharmacy in Great Falls, MT, requiring immediate start and anticipated coverage of approximately three months or more. This role offers an essential position overseeing pharmacy operations within a hospital setting, providing critical management and strategic leadership for a small but dedicated team.

Location:

• Great Falls, Montana

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and Director of Pharmacy, providing management and oversight of pharmacy services
• Lead and stabilize a pharmacy staff typically consisting of 2-3 pharmacist FTEs daily
• Drive progress on key initiatives including clean room renovation, MediTech IT projects, and financial analysis for the infusion center
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards, maintaining high professionalism and operational excellence

Qualifications:

• Montana pharmacist license required
• Strong background in hospital pharmacy management
• Experience with outpatient clinics and surgical hospitals preferred
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a small team effectively
