Lead pharmacy operations and provide expert management oversight as a Director of Pharmacy at a behavioral health facility in Greensboro, NC. This contract role begins with a training period starting February 25th alongside the outgoing Director and extends through May 29th or until the permanent candidate is placed. The position requires a strong background in inpatient pharmacy management, with specific experience in behavioral health and familiarity with Joint Commission standards highly preferred. Candidates must hold a valid North Carolina pharmacist license.

Coverage Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM plus light on-call duties
- Weekend hours of 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM may be needed if not covered by part-time pharmacists
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy staffing, including dispensing, verification of technician work, and medication order processing using the HCS system (training provided if needed)
- Assist with stocking and managing Omnicell automation systems
- Participate in Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) committee activities, antimicrobial stewardship, policy development, and updates
- Ensure timely medication delivery to patients, manage staffing schedules and budgets, maintaining cost controls on drugs and personnel
- Collaborate with part-time pharmacists and a team of technicians servicing a behavioral health site with recent Omnicell implementation
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina
- Proven inpatient pharmacy management experience
- Behavioral health and Joint Commission accreditation knowledge a plus
- Familiarity with HCS order entry system and Omnicell automation advantageous but not required
