This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist with hospital leadership experience who is looking for a 13-week+ assignment with potential to go temp-to-hire.

Position Details

• Position: Interim Director of Pharmacy
• Setting: 25-bed critical access hospital with an 18-bed SNF
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Start: ASAP / sooner than later
• Duration: 13 weeks+ with potential for temp-to-hire
• IT: Cerner and MedDispense
• Travel: Lodging, meals, and incidentals support available for qualified travelers

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff
• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations
• Support safe and efficient medication management
• Provide pharmacy leadership within the hospital and SNF

Requirements

• Active Kentucky Pharmacist License
• Hospital pharmacy experience
• Prior pharmacy management or leadership experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner and/or MedDispense is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
