Inpatient Director of Pharmacy in Havana, FL

An executive leadership opportunity is available for a Director of Pharmacy at a major regional health system in Florida, operating a 772-bed acute care hospital with a comprehensive service portfolio including a Level II Trauma Center and specialized units. This role leads a pharmacy team exceeding 100 staff, with six direct reports across inpatient, ambulatory, clinical, sterile compounding, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide executive pharmacy leadership overseeing 24/7 inpatient hospital pharmacy operations.
• Lead and develop a large, multidisciplinary pharmacy team.
• Collaborate effectively with C-suite hospital leadership to align pharmacy services with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain high-quality pharmaceutical care.
• Manage multiple pharmacy service lines including sterile compounding and clinical pharmacy.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Pharmacist License and Consultant Pharmacist License in good standing, or ability to obtain both before start date.
• Minimum of three years as Director of Pharmacy in an acute care inpatient hospital.
• Minimum of three years acute care inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• PharmD degree strongly preferred.
• Board Certification and residency completion are advantageous.
• Experience managing large pharmacy teams across diverse service lines.
• Preferably with exposure to Level I or Level II Trauma Center pharmacy operations.
• Sterile compounding oversight experience preferred.

Benefits:

• Competitive base salary range of $205,000 to $220,000, commensurate with experience.
