Home Infusion Assistant Director of Pharmacy - Hayward, California

Join a full-time leadership role overseeing pharmacy services in a Specialty Home Infusion Pharmacy setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct all pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with USP 797, USP 800, and state board regulations.
• Oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Ensure pharmacy practices meet licensing and regulatory standards on local, state, and federal levels.
• Prepare prescriptions, medications, and formulations accurately and efficiently.
• Assess patient drug therapies to identify and resolve drug-related issues.
• Manage pharmacy staff including hiring, training, performance management, and strategic planning.
• Maintain security and proper handling of controlled substances.
• Serve as a drug information resource and collaborate with physicians and referral sources.
• Participate in an on-call rotation providing necessary pharmacist coverage.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or R.Ph. with relevant clinical experience.
• Current, active California pharmacist license in good standing.
• Specialty pharmacy or home infusion pharmacy experience highly preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of pharmacist experience, including direct compounding.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy standards and regulations including USP 797/800.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
• CPR certification and Care Tend experience are a plus.
