Lead pharmacy operations as the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a behavioral health facility serving an average daily census of 40 patients. This contract role requires a licensed Michigan pharmacist to provide essential coverage while the permanent director position is filled, starting immediately through approximately eight weeks or more.
Location: Byron Center, MI
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Saturday (remote), 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee order verification to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage inventory maintenance for efficient pharmacy operations
- Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, upholding regulatory and operational standards
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Valid, active Michigan pharmacist license in good standing
- Proven leadership in pharmacy management, especially as Director of Pharmacy or PIC
- Familiarity with HCS order entry system
- Experience with Omnicell automation technology is a plus
- Background in behavioral health pharmacy services preferred
- Ability to work independently; no pharmacy technician support available
