Director of Pharmacy in Hudsonville, MI

This opportunity is for a Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) role at a behavioral health facility with an average daily census of 40 patients. The position requires active licensure as a Michigan pharmacist in good standing. The facility specializes in behavioral health and operates with an HCS order entry system and Omnicell automation, so experience with these systems is preferred.

Location: Byron Center, MI
Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Saturdays, remote coverage, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Director of Pharmacy and PIC, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Oversee order verification processes with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain and manage pharmaceutical inventory effectively
• Provide leadership in a behavioral health pharmacy setting
• Utilize HCS order entry system and Omnicell automation as part of daily operations

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Michigan in good standing
• Experience working with HCS order entry system preferred
• Familiarity with Omnicell automation systems preferred
• Background in pharmacy services within behavioral health settings advantageous
• Ability to work independently; no technician support available

Additional Details:

• Contract position covering from ASAP through approximately 8+ weeks (covering until permanent hire)
