Director of Pharmacy - Hudsonville, Michigan

Lead pharmacy operations as the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a behavioral health facility serving an average daily census of 40 patients. This contract role requires a licensed Michigan pharmacist to provide essential coverage while the permanent director position is filled, starting immediately through approximately eight weeks or more.

Location: Byron Center, MI
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday (remote), 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee order verification to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage inventory maintenance for efficient pharmacy operations
• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, upholding regulatory and operational standards

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Valid, active Michigan pharmacist license in good standing
• Proven leadership in pharmacy management, especially as Director of Pharmacy or PIC
• Familiarity with HCS order entry system
• Experience with Omnicell automation technology is a plus
• Background in behavioral health pharmacy services preferred
• Ability to work independently; no pharmacy technician support available
