Director of Pharmacy | Juneau, Alaska

An Interim Director of Pharmacy role is available in Juneau, AK, at a 60-bed hospital. This contract opportunity requires a skilled leader capable of managing pharmacy operations with a focus on compliance, budget control, purchasing, and personnel oversight. The position has an immediate start date and extends for approximately 13 weeks or longer. While temp-to-hire candidates are preferred, experienced travelers willing to relocate or travel will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all functions of the pharmacy department, including staff management and development
• Ensure departmental compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
• Manage budget planning and purchasing processes

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current experience as a Director of Pharmacy in a hospital setting
• Ability to obtain an Alaska pharmacy license quickly; note the process now excludes the law exam, allowing license approval within 3-4 weeks
