Director of Pharmacy

Director of Pharmacy opportunity in Juneau, Alaska!

This is a great fit for an experienced hospital pharmacy leader looking for a 3-6 month upwards of 1 year + assignment, with potential for temp to hire.

Position:

• 3 months - 1 year assignment preferred
• ASAP start
• 60-bed hospital
• Temp-to-hire candidates strongly preferred
• Travel allowances available for lodging, meals, and incidentals
• Pay: $4,000/week +

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy department operations
• Manage pharmacy personnel and workflow
• Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met
• Oversee pharmacy budget and purchasing
• Provide leadership and direction to the pharmacy team

Ideal Candidate:

• Current/recent hospital Director of Pharmacy experience
• Strong pharmacy leadership and management background
• Active pharmacist license
• Ability to obtain an Alaska pharmacist license quickly
• Alaska does not require a pharmacy law exam; licensing is expected to take approximately 3-4 weeks
