Director of Pharmacy | Lakeview, Oregon

This opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacy Director to lead operations within a critical access hospital environment. Serving a 25-bed facility with a daily census averaging 10 beds, this role offers a hands-on leadership position combining direct patient care as a Staff Pharmacist and management of pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the working Director of Pharmacy, engaging in daily inpatient pharmacy duties
• Oversee and manage pharmacy staff and workflow, including two pharmacy technicians on shift
• Perform sterile compounding and supervise verification of IV medications prepared by technicians
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards using Cerner order entry and Omnicell automation systems
• Maintain operational excellence without on-call duties, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Oregon pharmacy license
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience with direct patient care responsibilities
• Pharmacy management or leadership experience
• Sterile compounding expertise
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell platforms preferred

Location: Lakeview, Oregon
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 13-week contract with the potential for direct hire
