An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations in a smaller hospital located in rural New Hampshire. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring efficient and compliant practices
- Manage pharmacy compliance with regulatory standards, as well as human resources and budgetary functions
- Represent the pharmacy department in internal meetings and cross-departmental collaborations
- Lead various projects and initiatives aimed at improving pharmacy services
- Supervise a team of 5 full-time pharmacy staff members
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Demonstrated hospital pharmacy management background
- Ability to obtain a New Hampshire pharmacist license promptly; candidates without NH licensure are encouraged to apply, as sponsorship and support for licensure are provided
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide the pharmacy team and participate in organizational planning
