An acute care healthcare organization in Central California seeks a seasoned Interim Director of Pharmacy to lead and manage pharmacy operations across multiple inpatient hospital campuses during a transitional period. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct daily inpatient pharmacy operations across multi-campus settings
- Lead, mentor, and support pharmacy personnel to maintain high performance and morale
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Oversee departmental budgeting and effective resource allocation
- Drive and complete key operational and strategic initiatives in progress
- Collaborate with executive and clinical leadership to align pharmacy operations with organizational goals
Qualifications:
- Proven Director of Pharmacy experience in an acute care hospital environment
- Strong expertise in hospital pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and accreditation standards
- Demonstrated success leading teams through organizational change and operational improvements
- Ability to rapidly build credibility and deliver impactful results in an interim leadership role
- Familiarity with major hospital EHR and pharmacy information systems preferred
Assignment Details:
- Interim engagement expected to last approximately 3–6 months
