Director of Pharmacy in Loving, NM

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Director to oversee operations at a 99-bed hospital and associated provider clinics in New Mexico. This role offers the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position for candidates demonstrating strong leadership and operational expertise.

Location: Loving, NM
Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations and standards
• Manage daily pharmacy operations and oversee pharmacy staff
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to support clinical services and patient care
• Maintain standards consistent with pharmacy accreditation requirements
• Utilize MedHost EMR to document and manage pharmacy activities effectively

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current New Mexico Pharmacy License is required
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Pharmacy Director, preferably in a hospital setting
• Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance and pharmacy operations
• Proficient in using MedHost electronic medical records system
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
