Director of Pharmacy in Manassas, VA

An Interim Director of Pharmacy is needed for a 100-bed community hospital in Northern Virginia, located within manageable distance of the DC metro area. This contract opportunity offers a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule, providing a balanced workweek.

The pharmacy department serves an average daily census of 20 to 40 patients. The role involves comprehensive management of day-to-day pharmacy operations, including supervision of pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and active participation in departmental and hospital-wide meetings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and overseeing pharmacy staff to maintain high-quality patient care
• Managing regulatory compliance and ensuring adherence to safety standards

Desired qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Pharmacist license
• Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy management experience
