Lead pharmacy operations in a specialized hospital dedicated to providing exceptional inpatient post-ICU care for critically ill patients requiring extended recovery. This full-time role is based in Alle Kiski, within the hospital setting, offering an opportunity to oversee and shape pharmacy services that directly impact patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial aspects of the hospital pharmacy.
- Ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of drugs and chemicals.
- Maintain compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory standards.
- Manage the Adverse Drug Reaction Program.
- Develop and implement training and education programs for new pharmacy staff.
- Engage in quality assurance activities related to drug use and effectiveness.
- Monitor patient drug therapy and contribute to clinical decision-making.
- Develop at least one clinical program annually, such as Pharmacokinetic Dosing Service or Pain Management Services.
- Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement.
- Provide patient and family education and counseling.
Qualifications:
- Completion of all educational requirements for state licensure.
- At least three years of hospital pharmacy experience within the past five years.
- Current state licensure and BLS certification if required.
- Preferred: PharmD or BS Pharm with advanced degree or hospital pharmacy residency.
- Managerial experience of at least one year preferred.
- Board Certification and/or Residency is advantageous.

- Alle Kiski area, within a dedicated post-ICU recovery hospital.
