Provide leadership and strategic direction as the Interim Director of Pharmacy at a 325-bed community hospital. This contract role requires an experienced pharmacy professional to work closely with the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to enhance medication management operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead performance improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the PIC to manage daily pharmacy operations and advance strategic priorities.
- Provide coaching, leadership, and professional development to pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.
- Maintain compliance with DEA, USP, and state regulations, ensuring survey readiness.
- Lead projects focused on operational efficiency, clinical services enhancement, purchasing optimization, formulary standardization, revenue cycle management, and staff development.
- Partner with hospital executives, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve hospital and departmental objectives.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years recent or current experience as Director of Pharmacy in a similar, larger hospital setting.
- Active Georgia pharmacy license.
- BLS certification or willingness to obtain promptly.

- Monday through Friday, day shifts
