Inpatient Director of Pharmacy in Midway, FL

A prominent healthcare system in Florida is seeking an experienced pharmacy executive to lead a large and dynamic pharmacy department. Position Overview:

• Lead a pharmacy department of over 100 employees with six direct reports, including assistant directors and managers across inpatient, ambulatory, clinical, sterile compounding, and inventory teams.
• Operate within a 772-bed acute care hospital recognized as a Level II Trauma Center with extensive specialized services.
• Provide executive pharmacy leadership, collaborating closely with hospital C-suite and clinical leaders.
• Ensure efficient operation of 24/7 pharmacy services supporting patient care throughout the health system.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Florida Pharmacist License and Consultant Pharmacist License in good standing or clear path to obtaining both.
• Minimum three years of Director of Pharmacy experience in an acute care inpatient hospital setting.
• At least three years of acute care inpatient pharmacy experience.
• PharmD degree strongly preferred; board certification and pharmacy residency completion are advantages.
• Proven ability to lead large pharmacy teams across multiple service lines.
• Experience with sterile compounding oversight and operations in a Level I or II Trauma Center environment is a plus.
• Strong executive presence and skills to collaborate with senior hospital leadership.

• Based in Midway, Florida, within a highly respected healthcare system serving North Florida and South Georgia.

Benefits & Compensation:

• Competitive base salary ranging between $205,000 and $220,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
• $10,000 sign-on bonus.
