Director of Pharmacy - Morrison, Illinois

Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight as an Interim Director of Pharmacy, ensuring seamless pharmacy services during a temporary leadership gap. This contract role offers the opportunity to guide a dynamic pharmacy team and maintain high standards in medication safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations with direct supervision of 24 team members
• Oversee staffing, workflow optimization, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure medication safety and quality assurance across all pharmacy functions
• Collaborate closely with hospital leadership, including VP and Chief Medical Officer, to align pharmacy initiatives with organizational goals
• Maintain operational continuity and address challenges during transitional leadership periods

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license is mandatory
• Proven hospital pharmacy leadership experience with operational and regulatory expertise
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage staff and foster a collaborative work environment
• In-depth knowledge of medication safety practices and regulatory standards
