Assistant Home Infusion Director of Pharmacy in Mustang, OK

A specialty home infusion pharmacy in the Oklahoma City area is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee all aspects of pharmacy management and staff performance. This leadership role supports a growing pharmacy focused on delivering high-quality pharmacy services and medical supplies in accordance with strict regulatory standards. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a Monday through Friday day schedule and administrative on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all pharmacy and operational functions to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Ensure adherence to USP 797, USP 800, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services
• Prepare and verify prescriptions and medication formulations accurately
• Conduct patient care assessments and revise care plans as needed
• Manage controlled substances securely and in compliance with regulations
• Act as a drug information resource to sales and clinical teams
• Participate in pharmacist on-call rotations and provide operational coverage
• Handle full managerial duties including hiring, training, performance management, team development, and payroll approval
• Engage with physicians and referral sources to maintain strong clinical collaborations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Registered Pharmacist licensure in good standing in Oklahoma
• 3-5 years of pharmacy experience, ideally with direct compounding and specialty or home infusion pharmacy background
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• CPR certification and Care Tend experience are preferred
