Director of Pharmacy | Nacogdoches, Texas

This opportunity seeks an Interim Director of Pharmacy with active Texas licensure to provide leadership in an acute care hospital setting. The role requires a strong background in inpatient pharmacy operations and management, with the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) designation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and staffing for a team including one Clinical Pharmacist, multiple PRN Pharmacists, and Certified Pharmacy Technicians
• Provide administrative leadership ensuring regulatory compliance and quality patient care
• Coordinate pharmacy inservices and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with clinical and ancillary staff to support acute care pharmacy needs

Required Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist licensure in Texas
• Prior experience in acute care inpatient pharmacy environments
• Demonstrated management and leadership skills, including responsibility as PIC
• Familiarity with Cerner/Siemens order entry systems and Omnicell automation preferred

Schedule & Location:

• Based in Nacogdoches, TX
• Monday through Friday, day shift (40 hours per week)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
