Director of Pharmacy in Nashville, TN

An acute care hospital near Nashville, Tennessee is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to provide dynamic leadership for a well-supported pharmacy team. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy department
• Develop and mentor pharmacy staff to promote professional growth and high performance
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital administration to optimize patient care
• Oversee budget management and ensure financial accountability within the pharmacy
• Maintain regulatory compliance and implement policies that uphold safety standards
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy services

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years hospital pharmacy management experience
• 3 to 5 years overall hospital pharmacy experience
• Proven expertise in budget management and financial oversight
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead large pharmacy teams
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy degree
• Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday is mandatory
