Pharmacy Director - Nashville, Tennessee

An acute care hospital near Nashville, Tennessee is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the pharmacy department. This contract-to-hire position requires an onsite presence Monday through Friday and offers a valuable opportunity for a pharmacy leader ready to make an immediate impact in a well-supported, community hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the hospital pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and optimizing patient care
• Oversee budget planning and financial management related to pharmacy operations
• Develop and mentor pharmacy staff to build a strong, collaborative team
• Work closely with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital administration to integrate pharmacy services effectively
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards for quality and safety

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy management experience
• 3 to 5 years of overall hospital pharmacy experience
• Proven skill in budget management and financial oversight
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities managing large pharmacy teams
• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy degree required
• Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday
