Director of Pharmacy | Nashville, Tennessee

Join a rapidly expanding dermatology pharmacy headquartered in Tennessee, serving patients across 17 states with a mission to simplify complex problems and provide affordable care. This role focuses on ensuring compliance and operational excellence, supporting growth and quality within a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Location:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call duties
• Primarily onsite at the Administration location in Franklin, TN
• Some quarterly travel to Texas pharmacy location
• Limited remote flexibility post-onboarding; preference for local candidates with relocation assistance available if needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead readiness for URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board compliance audits
• Develop scalable SOPs, compliance workflows, tracking systems, and documentation processes
• Conduct mock audits and identify operational gaps proactively
• Maintain multi-state licensure tracking and compliance standards
• Create and deliver compliance training programs for pharmacy staff
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance operational accountability and quality assurance
• Drive consistency, structure, and audit preparedness across multiple pharmacy locations

Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist license; candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Minimum 5 years in pharmacy compliance, accreditation, regulatory oversight, or quality assurance preferred
• Leadership experience required
• Strong knowledge of URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board regulations highly desirable
• Proven ability to develop systems, improve processes, and enforce operational accountability
• Excellent organizational, documentation, communication, and analytical skills
• Adaptable to fast growth environments
• Proficient with compliance systems, spreadsheets, LMS platforms, and reporting tools
