Director of Pharmacy - Natrona Heights, PA

This leadership opportunity offers a dynamic blend of hands-on pharmacy practice and strategic management within an acute care hospital setting. Serving as the working Director of Pharmacy, you will be instrumental in guiding a close-knit pharmacy team while maintaining direct involvement in daily operations.

Location: Natrona Heights, PA
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Permanent
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend coverage on a rotating basis (about 4 hours flex time), with compensating weekdays off

Team and Reporting Structure:

• Lead a small pharmacy team comprising 1 Full-Time Staff Pharmacist, 1 Full-Time Pharmacy Technician, and 2 Per Diem Pharmacists
• All pharmacy staff report directly to you

Systems:

• Current systems include Med Host and paper documentation
• Future transition to EPIC is planned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Acute care hospital pharmacy background is essential
• Previous pharmacy management or director-level experience is strongly preferred
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Proven ability to manage and lead a small team effectively
• Strong administrative, clinical, and operational skills required
• Comfortable balancing hands-on pharmacy duties with leadership responsibilities
• Retail-only pharmacy experience is not suitable for this role
