Director of Pharmacy | Naval Anacost Annex, District of Columbia

This opportunity calls for an Interim Director of Pharmacy to lead the pharmacy department at a 100-bed community hospital in Northern Virginia, located not far from the DC metro area. This contract position offers a Monday to Friday day-shift schedule, providing a balanced workweek while overseeing a dynamic pharmacy team.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and participating in relevant meetings to maintain high-quality service delivery. The role demands a strong leadership presence along with proactive problem-solving skills.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A valid Virginia Pharmacist license
• Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy management experience
• Familiarity with Meditech and Omnicell pharmacy systems
• A commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts only
