A community health system anchored by a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and a 10-bed inpatient Behavioral Health Unit is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations. - New York, NY (Finger Lakes region)
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
- Holidays: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations within the health system
- Lead and manage a pharmacy team comprised of full-time and PRN pharmacists and technicians
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize medication management and patient outcomes
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives to improve pharmacy services
Qualifications:
- Current, active pharmacy license in good standing in New York State, or willingness to obtain prior to start (employment contingent on licensure)
- Disclosure and verification of all active/inactive pharmacist licenses required
- Minimum of 3 years acute care hospital management experience
- 3–5 years hospital pharmacy experience
