Director of Pharmacy | Norman, Oklahoma

Leading a Specialty Home Infusion Pharmacy requires a Director of Operations who specializes in pharmacy management, regulatory compliance, and clinical oversight. This full-time direct hire role is based in Norman, OK, supporting operations in Oklahoma City. The position ensures the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services and medical supplies aligned with legal and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all pharmacy functions including compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring in compliance with USP 797, USP 800, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Manage licensed pharmacy staff through hiring, training, performance management, and team development.
• Ensure accurate preparation and distribution of prescriptions, solutions, medications, and controlled substances.
• Conduct patient assessments and revise care plans based on drug and disease information.
• Serve as a drug information resource and collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and sales teams.
• Participate in pharmacist on-call rotations and cover shifts as needed.
• Lead strategic planning, conflict resolution, and establish team goals.

Qualifications:

• PharmD or Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph.) with clinical experience.
• Current and good-standing Oklahoma pharmacy license; additional licenses as required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of pharmacist experience, ideally with direct compounding background.
• Specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• CPR certification and Care Tend experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to train, educate, and lead pharmacy staff effectively.
