Director of Pharmacy - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Oversee the operations of a Specialty Home Infusion Pharmacy as the Director of Operations in Oklahoma City, OK. This full-time, direct hire role requires leadership in managing pharmacy functions, staff professional development, and ensuring delivery of high-quality pharmacy and medical supply services compliant with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct pharmacy operations to maintain effective and compliant services
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of USP 797, USP 800, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services safely and efficiently
• Ensure all practices meet local, state, and federal licensing requirements
• Accurately prepare prescriptions, solutions, and medications
• Assess patient-specific drug and disease information, updating care plans accordingly
• Supervise Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Interns in formulation work
• Manage controlled substances distribution, security, and maintenance
• Collaborate with physicians and referral sources; provide drug information and sales support
• Maintain pharmacist on-call schedules and provide coverage as needed
• Handle managerial responsibilities: hiring, training, performance management, and strategic planning

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or registered pharmacist (R.Ph.) with relevant clinical experience
• Active, good standing pharmacy license in Oklahoma; additional licensure as required
• 3-5 years of pharmacy experience, preferably including direct compounding and specialty pharmacy/home infusion background
• CPR and Care Tend certification preferred
• Strong customer service skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
