Position Overview

A growing specialty home infusion pharmacy is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee pharmacy operations, clinical services, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

This is a great opportunity to join a newer pharmacy location with significant growth anticipated. The Director will play an important role in establishing strong operational processes while leading a collaborative pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day pharmacy and operational functions
Lead and develop pharmacy and support staff
Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality pharmacy services
Oversee sterile compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring
Ensure compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, and applicable state and federal regulations
Maintain compliance with State Board of Pharmacy requirements
Review patient, medication, and disease information to identify potential drug-related problems
Develop and revise patient plans of care
Oversee preparation and accuracy of compounded medications and solutions
Participate in controlled substance management and security
Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and healthcare partners
Provide clinical and drug information support
Support business development and sales initiatives as needed
Manage hiring, training, performance management, meetings, scheduling, and payroll approval
Establish team goals and support ongoing process improvement
Participate in the pharmacist on-call rotation and provide coverage as needed

Qualifications
PharmD or RPh with appropriate clinical experience
Active Oklahoma Pharmacist license in good standing
3–5+ years of pharmacist experience
Specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience strongly preferred
Strong sterile compounding experience preferred
Knowledge of USP <797> and USP <800>
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to train, educate, and lead by example
CareTend/CPR+ experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
