Position Details

• Position: Director of Operations
• Location: Oklahoma City, OK
• Type: Direct Hire
• Start: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours
• On-Call: Administrative on-call responsibilities
• Compensation: $150,000–$180,000
• Team: 2 Pharmacists, 2 Pharmacy Technicians, 1 Warehouse Technician
• Growth: Newer site with significant expected growth

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy and day-to-day operations
• Lead and develop pharmacy and operations staff
• Ensure compliance with USP 797, USP 800, and state Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services
• Ensure pharmacy operations meet local, state, and federal requirements
• Prepare and oversee accurate medication and solution preparation
• Assess patient, medication, and disease information for potential drug-related problems
• Develop and revise patient plans of care
• Oversee the work of pharmacists, technicians, and interns
• Manage controlled substance preparation, distribution, security, and maintenance
• Collaborate with physicians and referral sources
• Serve as a clinical and drug information resource
• Support sales and referral activities as needed
• Manage hiring, training, performance reviews, payroll, meetings, and team development
• Participate in strategic planning and conflict resolution
• Maintain and oversee pharmacist on-call coverage

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma Pharmacist License in good standing
• PharmD or R.Ph. with appropriate clinical experience
• 3–5+ years of pharmacist experience
• Strong direct compounding experience preferred
• Specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of USP 797 and USP 800
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to train, educate, and lead by example
• CPR+/CareTend experience desired
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Additional state licensure may be required
