This direct hire leadership opportunity is for a Director of Pharmacy role at a premier critical illness recovery hospital located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The hospital provides world-class inpatient post-ICU care to chronic and critically ill patients requiring extended healing and recovery. Aligned with a nationally recognized healthcare network, the facility adheres to standards set by The Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive pharmacy operations including clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial management
- Ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of drugs in compliance with all regulatory standards
- Oversee the Adverse Drug Reaction Program and participate in quality assurance initiatives related to drug utilization and effectiveness
- Develop and administer educational and training programs for staff
- Design and implement clinically oriented pharmacy programs annually (e.g., Pharmacokinetic Dosing Service, Pain Management, Patient Counseling)
- Promote continuous quality improvement and collaborate closely with clinical leadership and the hospital CEO
- Teach and counsel patients and their families on medication-related matters
Required Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacist License in good standing
- Minimum of three years of hospital pharmacy experience within the past five years
- Educational credentials fulfilling Oklahoma’s licensure requirements
- BLS certification if mandated by state regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- PharmD or BS Pharm with an advanced degree or hospital residency completion
- At least one year in pharmacy management or leadership
- Board Certification and residency completion highly desirable
