We are seeking an experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy (DOP) to provide leadership and oversight for two hospitals in the greater Phoenix area.

 Position Details

Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of pharmacy services across two facilities
- Provide leadership and oversight to pharmacy personnel
- Ensure pharmacy compliance with applicable regulatory and facility requirements
- Oversee pharmacy budget and operational needs
- Support staffing, scheduling, and personnel management
- Represent the pharmacy department in hospital and interdisciplinary meetings
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams
- Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant pharmacy operations across both locations

Ideal Candidate

- Active Arizona Pharmacist license
- Current inpatient pharmacy management experience
- Previous Director of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Manager, or comparable leadership experience
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, compliance, staffing, and budgeting
- Comfortable overseeing pharmacy operations across multiple facilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Available to start quickly and commit to the full interim assignment

 Additional Details

This is a 12+ week interim leadership opportunity supporting two hospitals in the greater Phoenix area. The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient management experience and be comfortable stepping into a leadership role with minimal ramp-up time.
