Director of Pharmacy | San Diego, California

An immediate opening is available for an Interim Director of Pharmacy at a 70-bed Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in San Diego, CA. This contract role offers a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule, with a commitment of 13 weeks and potential for temp-to-hire opportunity. The position requires overseeing all pharmacy operations and serving as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for pharmacy services
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Manage pharmacy personnel and resources effectively
• Oversee medication distribution, safety, and inventory control
• Serve as PIC, maintaining accountability for site pharmacy operations
• Utilize RX Connect IT system proficiently for workflow and documentation

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist license is mandatory
• Demonstrated experience as a Director of Pharmacy within California
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Familiarity with LTAC pharmacy operations preferred

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts
